Summary

At the beginning of Chapter VI, Near & Far, the crew boarded the Jelly ship and the shooting started. At first, they appeared outmatched. A Jelly grabbed Trig's ankle and dragged him back into the ship. She sprung towards the enemy ship in a wave of anger. She had to save him, she had put others in danger. But Kira gets wrapped up by a Jelly, and she battled for her life. But just before her body was ready to give up, she noticed thorns emerging from her suit, and with a swift upswing, she cut the tentacle, freeing herself from its grasp.

Kira dropped off Trig and made her way back to Falconi and the rest of the crew. The Jellies had cut through the hull and there was a ship full of innocent people who were now...
