Chapter 7

Kate and Trey decide to try and find Kate’s parents. They search around online, hoping to find some trace of them. Kate is unable to find anything about her mother, but she is able to find something about her father. He married someone named Emily and had two sons. When Kate shows a picture of her mother to Trey, it disappears the moment she stops touching it. She concludes her medallion was protecting it from the temporal shift. She attaches herself to Trey because she’s afraid he’ll forget about her since she doesn’t know if she exists in this timeline. Fortunately for her, Trey shows no sign of forgetting which they decide must be because he was in close proximity with the medallion when everything changed. Trey takes Kate to Delaware to meet her father. She explains everything...
