Chapter 36 Summary

Two days after Davey visits the canyon cave she receives an unmarked package in the mail. She thinks the package is marked from Big Sur, California and it turns out to be from Wolf. In the box is a flat stone that changes color in the light and attached there is a note that reads, "A tiger's eye from my Tiger Eyes. Wolf." Davey wonders where Wolf is as she holds the stone to her lips, but she is satisfied that he in thinking of her. Later that day Davey's mother tells her that she has made a dinner reservation just for the two of them at a restaurant called Philomena's.
