Chapter 29 Summary

Davey goes to the Medical Center one day to find out that Mr. Ortiz died the night before. Davey is devastated and one of the nurses gives her an envelope from Wolf to try to console her. "Tiger, He wanted you to have the bear. Remember him as he was - full of life - full of love. I'll see you cuando los lagartijos corren." The letter only makes Davey cry more. She holds the bear and lets all of her emotions out. She cries more than she did for her father. She tells the director that she has to go home because of a headache. When she gets home she finds Jason baking cookies and takes her frustration out on him. Davey feels guilty for yelling at Jason when she gets back to her room. She realizes that she yelled at him...
