Chapter 12 Summary

Morelli takes Lula and Stephanie to the police station in order to drop off the body. While they are waiting for the man from the coroner's office, Stephanie overhears a cop talking and tells Morelli that she thinks he might be one of the men who attacked her at Mo's shop. Morelli promises to look into it. Later, Morelli brings pizza to Stephanie's. Morelli tells Stephanie that the police department has people on Montgomery Street looking for Mo in connection with Elliot Harp's death. Then Morelli leaves, again appearing to have no attraction to Stephanie. Stephanie cannot take it anymore and decides to spy on Morelli under the belief that he is seeing someone else.
