Chapter 13: A Bad Idea

The following evening is busy at Pete’s and Kiera is groped by a middle aged man who is sitting with a friend. She tries to disengage herself which only makes him laugh. All of a sudden, he is pulled off of Kiera. Kellan, looking dangerous, tells the man that his behavior is unacceptable, and coldly suggests that the man leave and not return. The man suddenly turns and lunges with a knife in one hand. Kiera yells to Kellan and Griffin, Matt and Evan all engage in one way or another, but Kellan lands a punch on the large man’s jaw that sends him sprawling. Kiera thanks the guys for jumping in, and Evan asks Kellan if he’s okay. A three inch cut along his ribs is thankfully not deep but is still bleeding...
