Chapter 1: Meetings

Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens is a story about a young lady named Kiera Allen who falls in love with Denny Harris, an assistant teacher at her college. Denny is Kiera’s first serious relationship, and she has eyes for no other until he is offered an internship in Seattle. In a short while, Kiera’s life is in turmoil and her emotions in upheaval.

The drive is long by any standards, but especially as Kiera has never been more than 60 miles from home. Kiera and Denny leave Athens, Ohio, and head for Seattle to the dream internship job with a leading ad agency that Denny was offered. Luckily, Kiera manages to arrange a full scholarship to Seattle’s University of Washington. The goodbyes are tough, but all Kiera can think about is the fact that she will finally be living...
