The County Courthouse

Theo spends much time at the courthouse because he is so passionate about the law. Numerous different types of trials are held there. Hallie’s dog’s trial is held there as well as April’s parents’ custody trial. Mr. Duffy’s trial is held here, and Theo gets his class seats on the first day, and he goes there frequently after school to check on the progress of the trial. There is a secret hiding spot on the floor above the courtroom where Theo can watch the trial through a slit in the floor and no one can see him.
