Summary

Theo and his father take the Pena children to a Stratten College baseball game while their mother works. Theo encourages the children to only speak in English, and eventually Mrs. Boone and Ike join them all. Theo and Julio go watch the game from a different location in the stadium at one point, and Julio tells Theo that his cousin’s name is Bobby Escobar. Theo explains that they may be able to get his cousin immunity which means that he will not be arrested in exchange for his testimony. Theo explains that his cousin’s identity has been protected.
