Owen Kiskaddon

Owen is a 17-year-old boy as the novel opens, and he has spent the years training to be a leader of his own duchy while being loyal to King Severn of Ceredigion. Owen is the Duke of Westmarch, having inherited that title after his father was banished for treason. Owen is Fountain-blessed and has several supernatural abilities, including the ability to resist other magical powers. He is a brilliant strategist, partly because of his natural ability. Also, his Fountain-given power allows him to find weaknesses in his opponents.
