Chapter 3 Summary

The Reverend will be Eddie's English teacher when he starts school again. The Reverend is coming to Eddie's house two or three days a week to help his mom with the grieving process. It's been two months since Billy died. Eddie doesn't think much about Billy anymore. Billy starts to appear in Eddie's dreams, at his window and in the back of cars when Eddie is filling the tanks. It almost scares Eddie into talking but he doesn't know who to tell.
