Chapter 7: Antonia Summary

Penelope wakes up and prepares for the new gardener who is coming to help with the yard. As soon as Penelope sees him, her heart begins to race and she is caught by his resemblance to someone else in her life. He does not drive and bikes to her house; immediately, he sets to work accomplishing the various tasks she has for him. His name is Danus Muirfield and he is from Edinburgh, Scotland. Penelope is instantly taken with him.

Meanwhile, Noel drives by to see his sister, Olivia. He does not call ahead to warn her that he is coming and she opens the door surprised. They laugh over the idea that Nancy already has Penelope deceased with her latest actions, but then Noel gets around to the topic of selling the Lawrence Stern pictures. Olivia tells him to leave...
