Summary

Part Two, titled "The South West Coast Path," begins with Chapter 4, titled "Homeless." Ray and Moth go to stay with Moth’s friend, Jan, briefly. Along the road, they stop in Glastonbury and visit Heavenly End, a New Age crystal shop with a “healing with angels” event on (34). They officially set off on the path in early August. They take the bus to Minehead, their starting point. They start walking through the steep woods above Minehead and already their bodies are sore, their feet blistered, and after the gas, bus fare, and food, they are already low on money. When night comes, they find a flat patch to camp. They start the morning by boiling a cup of tea on their little portable stove, Moth takes his painkillers for the stiffness in his shoulders, they pack up and head off again.
