Chalklings

Chalklings are drawn creatures that are used to attack other Rithmatist’s defenses during duels. These creatures can be anything from blobs to snakes to small warriors. Melody’s chalklings of choice are unicorns. Chalklings act according to written symbols by the Rithmatist. Most chalklings can only do a small number of things before growing confused. Melody, however, can control her chalklings with only thought and make them do many more things that regular chalklings.

Rithmatic Defenses

Rithmatists fight one another and wild chalklings with specific defenses. These defenses are made of circles and lines that interact to protect the Rithmatist. The circles provide a place for the Rithmatist to sit defended while drawing chalkings to attack their opponents circles. These circles can consist of anywhere from one to nine circles.
