Jamestown, New Britannia

Joel lives in Jamestown, New Britannia. Jamestown is a thriving city on an island that exists in what should be the Eastern United States. In Joel’s world, the United States is not made up of states. It is a collection of islands called the United Isles. There are multiple other islands in this federation, including East Carolina. However, many of the islands harbor hostility for other islands, causing political unrest among the United Isles. Joel has never left Jamestown until the day he visits a crime scene in East Carolina. Travel between the islands is by a train that runs on batteries and runs under the tracks.

Armedius
