Part 3, He Who Walks On All Fours: Chapters 56-62 and Epilogue, Chapter 63 Summary

In chapter fifty-six, D'Agosta and his group continue through the deepening water as Cuthbert confronts the creature and begs it not to kill him. Cuthbert is spared, but Rickman and Wright are killed. The SWAT team comes into Wright's office and attacked storeroom where they are killed as well. Coffey orders the rest of the SWAT team out of the museum. Coffey tries to speak to Cuthbert, but he has been driven insane.

In chapter fifty-seven, Pendergast and Margo lock Dr. Frock in the secure to keep him safe while they attempt to kill the creature. Unfortunately, the corridor is broken in two by a security gate. D'Agosta and his group come to an intersection they cannot cross, but there is...
