Summary

The next day, when the Empress was out on a hunt, Lilliet began writing down all of the Empress' dresses. Cannon fire began and she was forced to hide when the Tenor and another woman entered. They talk about the ambush and Lilliet learns it was some kind of game of war. The woman left and the Tenor told Lilliet he knew she was there and that she was working for the Empress. The Tenor promised he would have her once the hunt was done and considered selling or having her imprisoned for leaving him. He forced her to visit him the next day as he had something for her to do that may save her from punishment.
