Part 3, Meet Crazy Eddie: Chapter 29, Watchmakers Summary

Inspection reveals extensive alterations have been made all around the ship indicating that the mini-Moties are still on board. The ships prepare to leave the system for safety and security. Those on the planet are recalled through secret code, not revealing the extent of the problem to the aliens. In a very brief time the miniature Motie problem escalates: the hanger has been drastically altered, including the Langston Field. The Captain issues an intruder alert and Cargill is suddenly inspired to check the defensive ship guns. The batteries are filled with miniatures. They've been eating rats and probably even each other. Once again, the situation quickly escalates. This time the little creatures are armed and chaos ensues.
