Charlie West

Charlie is a seventeen year old senior who attends Grade Eleven at Spring Hill North High School. He has a black belt in karate which is the highest rank that can be held by someone his age. Charlie takes karate seriously, and has a great deal of respect for the man who is his instructor, Sensei Mike. In fact, when Charlie first discusses his dreams for the future, it is with Mike and not with his parents or friends. Charlie has aspirations to be an Air Force pilot, and Sensei Mike is encouraging, although he warns Charlie that it will take dedication and hard work to get there.
