Summary

Chapter 41 is told from Horton's perspective, when he is in position to meet Ben. The group standing watch tells him that Ben is alone, and the two meet and make their way to a bar previously scoped out on the groups walk. As they sit down for a beer, Ben tells Horton that the information he is supposed to give him is a setup, and Graham will be prepared. Before the two can hash out a plan that might work, Delilah reports that there are two men walking up the street who look like military. They storm into the bar and a shoot-off erupts. After taking down most of the adversaries, Ben gets hit and dies on the floor of the bar.

Chapter 42 resumes Rain's perspective, and the group makes their way to Delilah's house for safety. They regroup and think about...
