Summary

The prologue is from the perspective of a man named Arrington, who recounts the events of 9/11, an event that ended the life of his ex-wife. The internal monologue explains a man recounting the people who made fun of him and did not believe in him. He continues to talk about something that needs to be done in reference to a burning forest. He picks up the phone and makes a call.
