Summary

In Chapter 86, Grayson, who had been listening to Rebecca and Avery’s conversation, told Rebecca that she should have told someone what she saw. He would have taken care of things. Avery doubted that Grayson’s idea of taking care of things would have included turning his mother over to the police. Grayson asked Rebecca to leave him and Avery alone. Avery reminded Grayson that his mother had tried to have her killed. He said that Skye was complicated, but she was still his mother. He asked Avery to give him a chance to make things right. He guaranteed that she and Libby would not be hurt.
