Old Quarter

The Old Quarter is a section of London that had been heavily damaged by bombs during the Vernichtung. Wych-kin and wolves have overrun the area. Early in the novel Thaniel finds Alaizabel here, while hunting a Cracklejack. At the climax of the novel, the Fraternity occupies a cathedral in the Old Quarter to perform the Rite of pthau'es'maik and resurrect the Glau Meska.
