Book 5, Chapter 17 Summary

At Francesca and Billy's wedding, Billy dances in a cast having broken his leg skydiving. Fredo gets a rare moment alone with Michael when the wives leave to powder their noses. Fredo misses spending personal time with Michael, and wishes he had Michael's ear more often for business matters. Unfortunately Fredo botches the conversation right off the bat by reminding Michael why he never tells Fredo anything, because he can't keep his mouth shut. Fredo asks if Kay was mad when she found out the Tahoe house had been bugged; Michael had had to burn the house down to destroy the bugs. Michael hasn't even told Kay, and is disgusted Fredo would bring it up in public. Fredo keeps pestering Michael, asking about Havana and Hyman Roth. Michael suggests they have breakfast the next morning, implying they'll talk then. They hug...
