Summary

In Chapter 18, Ben is treating the family to a dinner at the Mexican restaurant the has Ellie's favorite burritos. Melvin insists on wearing a coat and tie. When they arrive, he complains because he thinks the place is cheap and says that they should have gotten Chinese instead. Ellie defends the restaurant and Lissa glares at him, but her expression changes completely when she sees Ben. He is also wearing a suit due to a previous meeting with a client.

Marvin orders much more food than anyone else. Ben looks envious as he watches him eat. He says he used to be able eat like that, but can't anymore if he wants to remain fit. He starts asking Marvin questions about school. Marvin burps during the conversation. Lissa chides him for being rude, but he explains that burping, and expelling gas as Ellie...
