In chapter sixteen, Thursday and Bowden go to see a man named Sturmey Archer, whom Bowden has information on and believes he could force to reveal the whereabouts of the Dickens manuscript. When they arrive, Archer is reluctant to share any information. As Bowden attempts to use his information to force Archer to speak, Felix7 arrives. Archer turns to Felix7 for help, but instead is shot for his efforts. A gun battle erupts, ending in the death of Felix7. Before he dies, however, Felix7 admits to killing Crumetty.
