Chapters 19-25 Summary

In Chapter 19, Raisa is at a dance recital with her sister, Mellony, and several members of her guard. As the recital ends and they proceed to return to the castle, they become aware of the heaviness of smoke in the air. Soon it becomes obvious that fires are burning in Ragsmarket. This is not unusual, therefore there is no concern at first. However, when even Cat cannot get them around the flames, they begin to worry. Raisa orders that they drive back to the Southbridge Temple so that they can see into Ragsmarket and locate the fire. When they do, they realize all of Ragsmarket is on fire. Raisa and Amon quickly begin organizing those around them to protect the children and fight the fire.

In Chapter 20, Han separates from Dancer and Willo at Marisa Pines and continues on to Ragsmarket...
