Chapter 8 Summary

Bosch leaves the porn shop, and drives to Sylvia's house. She answers the door and apologizes for her earlier behavior, explaining that she just misses him. He kisses her and goes in, asking if she's eaten. She has, but makes him a sandwich, while he marvels at how comfortable he is with her. She asks how court went, and how the calls played out, and Harry tells her the basics. She has been involved in police circles long enough to know not to pry too much. Harry eats the sandwich she makes, then calls Edgar to tell him what he found. He asks Edgar if he managed to reach their guy in vice, but Ray Mora was already gone.
