Summary

In Chapter 4, “Annie,” Annie heard a shout as Jackson pointed a finger in Ned’s face. Ned looked at Annie as if he was expecting her to placate Jackson, but Annie decided that since Ned had said he was going to fire her, she was not going to help him. She realized from Jackson’s anger that he had been the first one to receive his package.

In “Jess,” Jess remembered a conversation she had with a girl at another Home property who had been very familiar with Jackson's and Georgia’s lives. She indicates that she had gleaned an idea from that conversation that she was about to put into action.
