Chapter 20 Summary

George is taking Carrie skiing when she tells him all her problems. She tells him what they found out about Walt, even though The Mouse, Maggie and she made a pact to never tell anyone what they saw. She also tells George about her story coming out in paper and how Lali was acting weird about it. Carrie plans to tell George she has a boyfriend later in the day. Before she get a chance to tell him, they run into a friend of George's on the slopes, by the name of Amelia. Carrie thinks she looks familiar. When Carrie accidentally runs over Amelia and pulls her down with her, Carrie loses a ski and it cracks, which means she has to be taken down the slopes on a stretcher. They meet Amelia in the lodge.
