Summary

In Chapter 25, Khai was angry with himself for not having lied to Esme. He had lied before, but he just could not make himself lie to her. He tried to force himself to say the words I love you alone in his car but he could not even do that.

When Khai arrived home, Quan was in the garage. Quan told Khai it was time to either ride Andy’s motorcycle or get rid of it. Quan told Khai that Khai had some sort of guilt issues because of Andy’s death that were keeping him from recognizing the truth about his feelings for Esme.
