Edgewood Dirk and Healer Sprite Summary

Ben is making his journey to lake country. He is searching for Willow and lake country is where she began her journey a week ago. Ben thinks Meeks's reason for sending Willow her dream is to gain control of the gold bridle Willow thinks she must give to Ben. Since Meeks is disguised as Ben, it is Meeks Willow will end up handing the bridle over to unless Ben can stop her.

Ben makes camp for the night, pondering how Meeks could have compelled him to hand the medallion over to him. Ben notices a cat sitting on the edge of the woods staring at him. When Ben tells the cat help, the cat says hello back. When Ben speaks again though the cat does not, so Ben thinks he imagined it. The cat continues...
