Summary

Part Two: "New Moon" opens with an interlude where a dying man makes a deal he will forever regret when he pleads with a king to save his life.

In Chapter Eight: "Raihn," he muses on how Septimus used Oraya to force Raihn to make a deal. In the present, Septimus refuses to send the Bloodborn to Misrada. Rainn pretends it does not bother him and leaves to look over the city of Sivrinaj. As Rainn decides they need more guards at the palace, he smells blood. Raihn stays at the palace, hoping for a fight.

Chapter Nine: "Oraya" opens with an explosion at the armory. Oraya knocks out the boy sent to guard her. However, she does not kill him, even though she knows Vincent would want her to. Instead, she sneaks to the stables and flees into the city...
