Summary

Manu and Asya go to have dinner with Tereza, and are greeted by her daughter. The daughter makes frequent side comments to Asya and Manu about how unwell her mother is, and how advanced the dementia has gotten, but this only depresses Manu and Asya, who believe that Tereza is fully herself.

For Manu's birthday, Asya prepares Manu breakfast in bed, and a small gift basket full of sentimental gifts.

Asya gets a call from Tereza's daughter panicking because she believes that Tereza has gone missing. Asya goes out looking for Tereza, only to get a call from the daughter shortly afterwards informing Asya that Tereza has been found. The affair annoys Asya, who feels as if the daughter is encroaching on Tereza's independence.
