Summary
Manu and Asya have developed a couples' language - a way of talking to each other in inside references that no one can understand. Asya feels that sharing parts of their languages with each other is like sharing their histories and identities.
At a restaurant, Manu and Asya witness a tourist family struggling with their young children who make a scene. They make cruel jokes about it, but Manu holds some sympathy for the family. The whole affair triggers a latent question between the two of them about whether or not they will have children of their own one day. Manu would like to, but Asya does not want any.
