Summary

Charles unexpectedly excused himself, leaving Luella and Doctor Moon alone. Doctor Moon asked Luella about her troubles, and Luella intended to be callous, but she could not stop herself from being honest and airing her frustrations. The fact that Doctor Moon appeared to be so understanding unnerved Luella, so Luella tried to insist that she was still going to go out tonight, but Doctor Moon told her that she was going to stay home, because her husband was not well. At that moment, the maid entered the room and told Luella that Charles had had an outburst in the kitchen.
