Pina2bo is the name of the place where Laks builds his first gun. He names the spot after Mount Pinatubo, a volcano that cooled the world a couple of degrees when it exploded. The Indian Army sends Laks to Pina2bo because they believe that the machine is responsible for the monsoons being late.
