Section 5 Katie pp. 77-80. Summary

Katie tells of her meeting with Matt Harrison. He had submitted a volume of poetry about everyday things. The poems were little short stories that Matt had turned into concise poems. Katie had loved the poems and was editing them. The first time Matt walked into her office the world stood still. Matt was tall and put together well like his poems. His hair was a little long and his skin held the tan of an outdoors man. Suzanne and Matt worked on his poetry and then went to dinner. After dinner they went to a jazz club and listened to music. Suzanne didn't arrive home until three in the morning. Suzanne tried to remember whether he was married.
