Chapters 6, 5 & 4 Summary

From Nebraska, Fertility and Tender begin their trip back home. They decide to stay at the Ronald McDonald houses in each city. Each night, they have a different child with a different disease. All those nights that they sleep together in the same bed, Tender never mentions that Adam's last wish was for him and Fertility to have sex. Of course, Fertility already knows that.

Finally, when the two reach home, Fertility arranges for them to stay the night at one of her client's homes. She tells Tender that she will have to sleep with the husband, but after that, she will be able to sneak him into the house. Tender is shocked to find out that the house they are going to belongs to his former employers.

Later that night, after Fertility has slept with the husband of the house, she lets...
