Book 4: Chapter 26-30 Summary

In chapter twenty-six, Harry explains that he and Michaelson have been adopted by the warriors and so are safe, but that the leader of the mimi'swee has decided that Ben and Ashley are still to die. Mo'amba is able to get a hearing for them scheduled for the following day. That night Ashley and Ben make love. As they drift off to sleep, Ben is called back into a dream with Mo'amba who explains that the fungus that protects them from the crak'an is dying and the mimi'swee blame the humans. Mo'amba explains that they cannot kill the crak'an because they need the crak'an to keep the ecosystem balance. Mo'amba says he has a plan and lets Ben go back to sleep.
