Satoru's

Satoru's is the local bar where Tsukiko and Sensei spend the majority of their time together. At the start of their friendship, they run into each other at Satoru's repeatedly. These chance encounters soon become regular meetings. Each time they are there, they order similar foods and dishes. They both enjoy eating and drinking many of the same things, yet each have their particularities about how these things are consumed. They discover these particularities and preferences while at Satoru's.

Over time, the companions become familiar with Satoru himself. When Sensei is absent, Satoru will engage Tsukiko. Other nights, Satoru will engage Sensei about the baseball matches, or discuss news broadcasts with Tsukiko.

Bar Maeda

Bar Maeda is the bar where Kojima is a regular. When he and Tsukiko leave the cherry blossom party prematurely, Kojima takes her for a drink at Maeda's. Almost as soon as she notices...
