Chapters 10 - 12 Summary

Chapter 10 - As soon as Harry leaves Bianca's, he phones Linda Randall, but she refuses to talk to him. Harry recognized the sounds in the background during the call as coming from O'Hare airport. Knowing her to be a driver for the Beckitts, he rightly assumes she is picking them up at the airport, tracks her down and confronts her. As he questions her about Jennifer Stanton he realizes she is trying to distract him, to avoid telling him something. She refuses to give in. Then the Beckitts emerge from the terminal. A tall, good looking couple, the Beckitts have all the outward appearances of success, but their eyes are dead, like those of war prisoners. Linda lies to Mr. Beckitt and says that Dresden is an old boyfriend of hers. This makes Dresden even more curious and he palms one...
