Summary

The final chapter is titled Astronauts, 2015. Norah is in the body of a thin young man named Bombadil. Norah gets a message from a Blackwaterman who says the “guest” has parked near the Slade Alley entrance. Norah admits that she'd worried the winter weather might delay the guest. Norah begins making plans for what she'll do after they consume this next soul. Jonah has been forced to remain in Slade House for the past nine years because of the horrible wound Sally inflicted in his neck. Norah knows that consuming this next soul will provide the recovery Jonah needs. She thinks that they might visit the Riviera once they are back to full strength.
