Chapters 27 and 28 Summary

On the Oregon, Max uses a Gatling gun to help even the odds while the others launch against their rigs. Cabrillo coordinates the attack, sending Linda to look for the rig staff so they can turn off the pumping oil and transport them to the next rig to do the same if necessary. Hearing the shots outside, the men guarding the oil rig staff begin to kill their captives. The scene inside is chaotic, and all but one terrorist is taken down. He vanishes into the kitchen and when Linda follows, he gets the upper hand on her and takes her hostage. On the second rig, when the rebels realize the kind of attack being waged on them, a great number of them simply throw down their arms and give themselves up to Eddie Seng. He can hear the gunfire still...
