Summary

Kate remembers how she and Hank first reconnected in Rosie’s music class when she realized first that one of the parents in the class was black and then recognized him as Courtney’s husband. Several weeks later, Kate convinced Jeremy to join a class with her so that he could see how cute Rosie was, and he agreed, but tells her that he found the class to be tedious. At that point Kate realized that Jeremy could never be a stay-at-home dad like Hank. Kate recognized a certain amount of surprise in the other women that a man - and especially a black man - was present in the class. She ended up having to borrow a diaper from Hank, having forgotten to bring a spare, and he invited them to join him and Amelia at the Bread Company. It is quickly clear...
