Section 7: Chapter 24-27 Summary

In Chapter 24, Valerie's mind is hypnotized by Walter's abuse, but he will regret his unforgiveable actions. Valerie buys a gasoline container and flammable liquid before filling her car with gas since it is a long, far drive if she makes it out of the house at all; however, that does not matter to her because she has nothing to lose. In Chapter 25, Inda and Chiquita eat at Parker's Lighthouse, a seafood restaurant in Shoreline Village.
