Summary

In Chapter 21, Judy takes Charlotte to the dog park. A group of fellow pet owners descend upon her and question why she carries Charlotte in a sling if the dog is uninjured. They call animal control. While Judy tries to calm herself down, she sees Gary walking on a trail with a woman. They hold hands and Gary kisses her on the head. Judy takes Charlotte out of the sling and puts her leash on so she can walk. Ranger Molly, an animal control agent, arrives and explains to Judy that she has not done anything wrong. She writes her a fake citation to appease the group and Judy leaves.
