Chapters Seven through Nine Summary

Peggy Jean travels to Milan to host a segment. On the way home, she takes the air travel sickness bags from her seat and that of her neighbor to use later for carrying her shoes. Peggy Jean is then brought a Kosher meal which makes her angry. She says that she isn't Jewish, whispering the word "Jewish" and hissing at the flight attendant who brings her another meal. The incident with the meal upsets her so badly that she takes a Valium from her vitamin bottle and swallows it. Peggy Jean later heads to the restroom and finds the liquor cart unsupervised. She fills her cosmetic bag with tiny bottles of liquor, going so far as to leave behind her hair spray to make more room for the liquor.
