Summary

Marion felt blissful after kissing Val in "Marion: The Plunge." She walked away from the Kingshead stables in the night until she heard a nearby horse. Disturbed, the horse kicked at its fence as "a weight hit the ground" behind her (204). She received the message to run as the bone cry erupted in her ears. The horse broke through the fence, and an "electric charge" shot from the ground, pushing her forward (205).
