Summary

In Chapter 16, Shoshanna and Chase continue to interview Julius. Shoshanna lies to her whole family about what she is doing, but one day her mother sees Shoshanna and Chase together at the yogurt shop. Her mother yells at Chase and forces Shoshanna to come home, then calls her father. Together, her parents scold her and forbid her from seeing Chase. She defends him and says he has changed, and that he is her friend. She suggests they bring Joel back from boarding school since Chase is no longer a bully.
